Easter Camps are a huge success

Posted: 6th May 2011

The Easter holidays were an eventful couple of weeks for ISS. Two Easter camps in Coventry and Milton Keynes and one masterclass in Cannock.

Yuri Bureiko and his team of dedicated coaches successfully delivered camps and master classes over 3 rinks.

Yuri Bureiko was keen to add "we were delighted with the enthusiasm and drive from all the skaters. The sessions worked at a fast pace so all the skaters had to keep concentration and focus. Levels were varied, working from single jumps through to triples, I'm pleased with the development of all our skaters, each time we run these camps I can see shockingly great improvements. Our coaches all work together as a strong team in every rink so this helps maintain the skaters progress."

We welcome all skaters to participate at ISS camps, to stay updated please check our website for any up and coming camps. To see more pictures check out our facebook page

Here is just a selection of great feedback we have received from some of our skaters:

Faith Somerfield - 15yrs old, level 3 skater -
"Really good, it was all new things for what Yuri did at Altrincham, and i like the off ice and dance, it was good but it killed afterwards, worth the money"

Eden Meredith 13yrs old, level 1-3 skater -
" I had an amazing time. Glad it went well. Hope Yuri was impressed with you Cannock sisters"

Anna Smith 12yrs old, level 2 skater -
" I really enjoyed the master class, it has given me a real boost and cant wait to do more"

Lucy Ratcliff 11yrs old, beginner skater -

Lucy Harrison 17 yrs old, level 6/7 skater -
"It was creative with all the different steps, and it gave me a challenge by changing the entry into different jumps and gave me a better understanding of the different positions I need to be in in jumps and steps"

Leah Hosker 15 yrs old, level 2-3 skater -
" I learnt lots of different useful techniques, worked very hard on ice and off ice benefited from the camp, i would defiantly do it again, really enjoyed it and didn't want it to end"
