Basingstoke Open 2015

Basingstoke Opens (2-5th November 2015) saw many ISS skaters from both Coventry and Milton Keynes competing over the course of the four days, some for the first time in a new level and all aiming to improve their performances.

ISS Coventry:
Several skaters did extremely well to gain medal placing’s in their levels. Competing in level 1 for the first time, Jacob Casey placed first! In level 3 ladies, Evie Lewis placed 2nd in a large group of 24, and in level 6 Lauren Shirlaw placed 3rd in a large group again of 27. (All 3 are coached by Emma and Richard). Fantastic results!

Great result for Frederick Wilkin who Competed at level 2 and got 1st place, well done!

Aoife Stevenson came 2nd in her first level 2 comp with a score of 17.77 and Robyn Foster 4th with a score of 17.43! Very close competition at the top!

Anais Dhadda competed for the first tiem at Level 2 and placed 6th with score 15.59, well done Anais.

Eva Cater skated in in level 5 and got 1st place and Sofia Clark competed in level 6 and also earned a podium finish and got 2nd place, a fantastic result ladies.

Daniel Galloway performed well and reach the podium with a 2nd place at level 5, well done Daniel!

Also competing were Molly Perry, Laura Walters, Louisa Wootton, Natasha Goss, Molly Hibbert, Mia Bench, Sophia Smith,  Jessie Reece and Ellie May Foster.

ISS Milton Keynes:

Well done to Ellie Green who finished 6th in the junior ladies event with a new PB out of 22 – Great job Ellie!

Kia Blackburn did a great job in Novice ladies and finished on the podium in 2nd place, well done Kia!

A Great start for young Megan Bulford who skated in her first competition at level 6 with her new program.

Well done to Rowena Mosley who competed at Level 6 with her new program, great job Rowena!

Ashley l'Homme skated in level 4 for the first time with a new program, well done Ashley.

Kate Carrington skated in level 5, also with a new program, great job Kate!

Fantastic job and well done to all skaters who competed at the event, we are very proud of all ISS skaters from MK and Coventry.
