MK Club Gala

Posted: 8th July 2012

Milton Keynes Ice Skating Club held their Summer Gala on the 29th June, with 27 skaters performing either singly or in small groups to 22 different songs.

This years theme was 'favourite songs' which allowed a wide variety of music to be selected, and led to quite an eclectic mix through the show; from musicals, to Rock; from slow ballads to current chart hits.

The Gala was opened with an exhibition skate from NISA Level 8 skater Charlotte Cook, performing her IJS long program. All the other skaters performed new routines that they had choreographed specially for the Gala, most incorporating themed costumes or props to suit their music.

We would like to congratulate all of the skaters who took part and made it a fantastic event!
