Phil takes 1st place

Posted: 14th October 2012

October saw Deeside host the Welsh National Championships 2012.

The IJS was a great event with some stunning skating, in particular we would like to congratulate Phil Harris of ISS Coventry for taking 1st in the Senior men's category and is now Welsh Champion, his total score for the competition was 149.82.

He skated well which adds to his string of success recently following his skate in Oberstdorf at the end of September where he landed a triple axel which was his first in competition and scored 154.80.

Phil has been training and working hard with Yuri in Coventry, so well done Phil, you deserve it!
